This paper revises the bio-psycho-social model proposed by George Engel to make it applicable to patients with schizophrenia. In order develop a revision of this model, firstly, the key ideas of George Engel are going to be explained, and next, critically revised. Finally, the author will provide a revised proposal considering the following three scopes: theorist-epistemological; technical-pragmatic and ethic.
