Abstract

Usually, cytomegalovirus infection dosen’t cause symtons in immunocompetents patients although sometimes can. In alcoholic and cirrhotic subjects can cause several and fatal infections. We describe a case of disseminated cytomegalovirus infection in an alcoholic patient with excellent response to ganciclovir.
