Abstract

Dental decay, wearing of dental surface, trauma, yatrogenic dentistry, discordant eruption, exostosis and tooth shape genetic variations can cause the decrease of the supracrestal remaining tissue, sparking off also a periodontal, restorative and aesthetic problems. There are different treatments to solve these problems that must be able to achieve the biological, restoratives and aesthetic requirements.
