Abstract
CASARIEGO, Z.J.. Lost of immune tolerance in recurrent aphthous ulcers (RAU) of oral mucous membrane: break of Immune Tolerance could cause persistent injury in oral mucosa, provoking recurrent afthae´s ulcers (part 2). Av Odontoestomatol [online]. 2016, vol.32, n.3, pp.159-167. ISSN 2340-3152.
It was made a review about published theories of lost of Immune Tolerance in order to find modern concepts. They referred to genetic predisposition, influence of epigenetic on modelation of vulnerable genotipe, hygiene and microbiota theories, multiple chemistry sensibility syndrome, chronic stress, cortisol, hypofisis-hyphotalamic-pancreas axis, atac to cellular membrane and injuriy by reperfusion. Appliaying the basic principles of the consulted theories it is demonstrated the general and partial lost of homeostasis that could explain the thre most prevalent characteristics of the recurrent oral ulcers: Pain, vulnerability and recurrence.
Keywords : Lost of tolerance; epigenetic; chemical sensibility; reperfusion; pain; vulnerability; recurrence.
