GUILLEN NAVARRO, P.; BLANCO ARRIOLA, L.; ALTUZARRA GONZALO, E.  and  ORTEGA BENITO, C.. Forearm strangulation: A case report. Cuad. med. forense [online]. 2005, n.42, pp.287-292. ISSN 1988-611X.

The diagnosis of forearm strangulation use to be difficult because there's very few external and internal injuries. This is the reason of the problems to establish this type of asphyxia like death's cause. At the same time, it's important to establish a good diagnostic because the homicidal etiology is the the most frequently, with the legal consecuences that it implies. In this paper, wepresent the case of a forearm strangulation of a young woman by her ex-boyfriend, a blind man.

Keywords : mechanical asphyxia; forearm strangulation; homicide.
