Medical education training has become reflexive, interactive and encourages personal and professional commitment as an element for learning. We describe a teaching experience in the studies of the degree of medicine (Pediatrics) with active participation by the students. A student suggested preparation and statement of a theme, and it was choosen “Whooping cough and mumps”. This item allows a clinical approach, and epidemiological and for the community also. On the model of flipped learning the information transmission is carried out by encouraging students to study before class reading documents.
