Abstract
GONZALEZ JIMENEZ, Emilio; AGUILAR CORDERO, Maria José; ALVAREZ FERRE, Judit and PADILLA LOPEZ, Carlos A.. Breast lump (77 year old man). Rev Clin Med Fam [online]. 2010, vol.3, n.1, pp.51-53. ISSN 2386-8201.
Male breast cancer is rare accounting for 1% of total breast cancer cases. Its incidence is higher in patients with a family history of breast cancer of with testicular diseases that cause high oestrogen levels. Symptoms are the same as those in women. Most cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage and this explains the poor prognosis in men. We describe a case of a 77 year old man diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma.
