Malaria in Afghanistan is an endemic disease in all areas lower than 2000 meters. In the XXI century it remains a threat to troops in combat zone despite the availability of effective drug prevention and keep out biting insects measures, as the most effective ones, it is necessary a higher effort to get a bigger and better observance of the chemoprophylaxis.
