Health worker without protection against mumps to which the first dose is administered measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine Three weeks later presents to the Otolaryngology by plugging sudden feeling left ear and tinnitus in several hours of evolution diagnosed sudden deafness. It is entered treatment with intravenous corticosteroids and after exhausting therapeutic possibilities, it is discharged without recovery of hearing. The Department of Prevention tries to establish the causal link between the administration of the vaccine and hearing loss informing and advising the working of the legal and administrative procedures relating to the case.
