The linguistic reality in the province of León show a complexity with a little research. The UNESCO describe the leonese language or leonese as a language in serious danger of disappearing. Due to the great vocabulary present in the different parts of the province of León it has developed a profound bibliographic review about the way the leonese people speak and name the disease and its consequences. We understand the people they speak using leonese are those who live in the province of León, in the village of Mirando do Douro in Portugal and northeast of the province of Zamora. The results of the review show how they say andancio instead of disease, trancazu instead of influenza and pilmada instead of chronic disease. The person in risk of develop a disease were describe as encanixáos, encaniáu, morrinosos o xirxoles, according to the part of the province. We can affirm the need to know more about this dialect originate from the Castilian and this will provide more information to improve the comunication with patients.
