RODRIGUEZ CAMERO, Mª Luisa et al. Women, Health and Family caretakers: Economics Institutions about the Antropholy Perspective. Index Enferm [online]. 2007, vol.16, n.58, pp.45-49. ISSN 1699-5988.
The study of the economical behaviour has left sideways all what is not considered "formal". They have ignored the people, whose economic behaviour, did not follow the rules of the market. Economic contributions of the women along the history has been underestimated; since the contribution from the "collecting woman" (greater than the "hunting man"), to our days, where the change of cultural values and the incorporation of the woman to the public sphere, has caused an increase of the sanitary expense and a search in the sphere Of resources to cover the needs that before were covered by the private means. Economic behaviour that was part of the domestic thing, contributed mainly by the women, now is the State of Welfare who has to guarantee it. This article pretends to articulate key concepts like family caretakers and nursing, busy mainly by women has been influenced by the collective conscience that linked the "Care" to somewhat maternal, lower and opposite to method and not generate capital gain. All that is a heavy weight that difficult the change toward a new paradigm where the "Care" is based on the scientific method and recognized as efficient.
