Resumen

Objective: to develop a standardized structure for the elaboration and publication of clinical doubts' answers following the evidence-based nursing methodology. Methods: first journals publishing this type of articles were reviewed, including Spanish and English journals. Then, a review was performed by secondary research experts and a clinical panel was enquired to revise the content and structure of this publication format. Structure of the publication: the format contains 8 sections, in which different steps of evidence-based practice are included: description of the clinical situation, clinical questions, literature search, results and answer to the question. Expected utility: This standardized format aims to have value for disseminating evidence and facilitating the transfer and implementation of the evidence in the clinical setting due to its simple structure for the development and the understanding of its results.
