We present the relationship that exists between the premature births and the periodontal pathology, finding that a relationship between the bacteria derived from the periodontitis and their step to the placenta provocando premature births. Not all groups are agreetherefore, wich is cecessary to develop ore work and larger series of patients to obtain valid conclusions. Prematurity is a public health problem that calls to focus on its causes and consequences through a trans disciplinary approach. There are no studies analyzing premature birth from the perspective of individuals born preterm.
