The aims of this work were contributing to check the use of abuse drugs and stupefacients substances and evaluating dependency degree in drogadicte population of a Sanitary Area. We also verifyed the treatment carry out and identifyed the therapeutic effective dose of sustitutive drug (metadona), through out established programs in the Adictive Conduct Unit (UCA).  7921 determinations of abuse drug were anlyzed in 5148 orine samples where the 86,68% were negative and 13,32% were positive results. The next results were obtained according to the kind of consumed substance: 4220 determinations of cocaine, 88,65% negative and 11,35% positive results; 2415 determinations of opium, 85,51% negative and 14,41% positive; 746 determinations of anfetamines, 96,65% negative and 3,35% positive; 540 determinations of cannabinoides, 62,4% negative and 37,59% positive; 238 determinations of metadona, 10,92% negative and 89,08% positive. The obtained results indicate that eight persons from ten were negative globally in the analysis practiced of abuse drugs. Our studied results confirm the report from Spanish Observatory about drugs that showed new information. In this report the cocaine was the more mentioned drug in 1999 in the emergency hospitalize for consumption of psychoactives substances and also was the drug which caused more deaths due to acute reactions after consumption and its increasing sanitary and epidemiologic impact runs parallel to a decreasing in the consumption of heroin.
