This essay consists of five main sections: 1) definition of the concept of delusional ideation; 2) delusional ideation theory based on a semiotic model of conduct; 3) conceptualization of psychotic conduct; 4) presentation of a cognitive model of standard reasoning and 5) psychopathology of delusional ideation based on a model integrating cognitive and emotional factors.
