Contributions from four sociopsychological frameworks -vygotskian psychology, Symbolic Interactionism, Social Constructionism and Bronfenbrenner's socioecological model- are revised and its relevance for Mental Health is suggested. We claim for people working in Mental Health being aware of their important social role.
