Abstract

VUCINOVICH, Nicolás; ROMERO GAMERO, Rafael; POVES ONATE, Silvia  and  OTERO RODRIGUEZ, Juan. Another time, another uneasiness in culture: validity of psychoanalysis as social criticism. Rev. Asoc. Esp. Neuropsiq. [online]. 2011, vol.31, n.3, pp.505-511. ISSN 2340-2733.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/S0211-57352011000300008.

Through this article we try to show the validity of psychoanalysis as social criticism, following a route since beginnings to present days. These pages intend to review the different usages of concepts like superego, libido and sublimation by three important schools of thought linked to psychoanalysis (Freudian, Lacanian and school of Frankfurt) among three historical moments. The relevance today of these concepts is used in order to ask the same big question: Uneasiness in socialized man.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Culture; Superego; Libido; Sublimation.
