Actually, lifting procedures tend to be less extensive and with a simpler postoperative course. The authors explain the anatomical basis of suspension techniques that use traction sutures to tow the tissues, by-passing the effect of the osteo-musclecutaneous ligaments. The different correction vectors used are analyzed.
