Abstract

Breast surgery, and especially cancer and its prevention, have undergone significant changes in recent years, due to changes in the understanding of the biology of tumors. Locoregional treatment, continues to have a first order effect, but tends to individualization according to tumor stage at the time of diagnosis. The Oncoplastic Surgery, allows refunds of bodily integrity, aesthetics are very emotionally satisfying, and risk reduction surgery in cases of hereditary familial breast cancer and / or significantly decreases the risk of developing it. In this paper the different treatment techniques and reconstruction as well as the time they are indicated and recovery times for better assessment of its disabling circumstances and the recovery of women affected by this disease are discussed.
