Abstract

ROMERO B., María Nubia. Young researchers: The Formation of to be Researcher: Obstacles and Challenges. Index Enferm [online]. 2007, vol.16, n.57, pp.50-54. ISSN 1699-5988.

A reflection about the necessity to prop up local and global efforts in formation and strengthening of scientific spirits inside nursing. It explores three central elements: one, around the upper education’s role in the researches formation; two, about the meaning of to be researcher, and three, the role that training and employment institutions should play in this exercise of pedagogy and of life to form and fortify to be researcher. Into these elements it is found a challenge of transformation for present and future in nursing, and for that, the reflection’s core is the analysis of three complementary dimensions: the individual wish, the political will of the institution, and the knowledge in the research, showing its handicaps and challenges, and understanding the expressed things are wishes that are proposed to fertilize the ground where the seeds that are going to germinate will give scientific fruits, maybe with hope inside bachelors, but with certainty in levels of advanced formation, like Masters and Doctoral programs.

Keywords : Young researchers; Researcher Formation; Upper education; To be researcher; Nursing research.
