The information provided by farmers of all ages was analyzed under the hermeneutic interpretive method. Emerging categories were "emotional and physical well-being" versus "unrest" were determined by the development of social and armed conflict and constructed as opposite from a collective and comprehensive speech in which privileged social determinants of health over the biology. In addition, they were permeated by the history of colonization of the jungle area, the relationship with nature and processes of peaceful resistance peasant. The cherished dream of health is not alienating and constructed within the framework of organizational processes by which they improve their living conditions and demanding respect for their rights. The disease is a reflection of reality lived.
