Objective: Recognize with the women, imaginary and actions that everyday allow that are triggered violent situations. Methods: Qualitative research based on the Habermas critical social theory, with methodological approach from the Participatory Action Research. Results: In the descriptive and interpretative analysis arises the topic of "naturalization of violence", based on three emerging categories: Female perspective of patriarchal culture: the mandate of the man and the excuse for violence; Female experiences of the real world of the relationship as a couple and The multiple imaginary linked to motherhood. Conclusions: The research contributes to the understanding and explanation of how it gesture and develops the process of naturalization of violence against women by recognizing imaginary, stereotypes and sociocultural practices in the daily feed patriarchal culture.
