Abstract

At present, it's necessary to optimize health resources in order to achieve a cost-benefit acceptable for any health system, since financial resources are scarce. Nursing should not ignore the progress of computer advances and must rely on them to evolve to keep pace with these new technologies do. The emergence of the Internet and its derivatives (social networks, forums , websites, etc) that fall within the so-called Information Technologies (ICTs) represent interesting tools applicable in the health sector. This paper focuses on the review and analysis of the present situation in which these computer advances are applied to the field of health.
