The sample selection was by stratified random sampling and the variables collected through questionnaire. Results: The presence of nighttime in the workday was higher in unexposed workers than in the exposed, 24.6% vs 13.0% p <0.001)). Analyzing the interaction, 74.4% of workers who made use of the mask were exposed. Conclusion: Exposure to carcinogens is higher in the group of workers who report using the mask, not work at night and work in the agriculture, industry and services.
