By examining the clinical case report of a sexual offender of adult females diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and multiple paraphilia, a study is presented on the psychological motivations behind sexual aggression associated with self-esteem regulation in human beings of the function of sexual desire using for this prevalence of axis I and II disorders of the multi-axial system in groups of sexual aggressors, established sex offenders typologies and studies on sex offenders state-of-mind preceding the sexual assault. The link between paraphilic disorders in sexual aggressors and the sexual drive function in human beings is emphasized, as well as the scarcity of studies on the subject and the under diagnosis of these disorders in this group.
