The present tendencies in endodontic instrumentation are rotary systems, and files with bigger tapers, that enhance the cleaning and shaping of the root canals. This study explains the technique for rotary instrumentation with NiTi GT files, their design and characteristics, handling technique, advantages and disadvantages compared to other systems.
