Abstract

We continue the series in Paediatric Cardiology checking frequent reasons for consultation in the paediatric offices of Primary Care, presenting them in a brief and practical way and trying to show the electrocardiogram usefulness, diagnostic tool available at the Primary Care office. In this paper we present the case of a 12 years old boy with a heart murmur. The way physical exploration and electrocardiographic findings guide the diagnosis of this patient is discussed.
