The subjects of this study were ten health workers of the obstetric unit of the mentioned institution. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews, from November 01st, 2008 to October 31st, 2009. For this research cut it was used the question 17. Two themes were highlighted as result of analysis and organization of the findings in the subjects interviewed: ambience as care space and light technologies as tools for humanization of attention in parturient adolescent. The investigation has indicated that the humanizing attention to adolescents needs more than problem solving or use of hard technologies, it requires attitudes and behaviors of health workers who contribute for the strengthening of the link among professionals, users, family and community.
