Abstract

REOLID MARTINEZ, Ricardo Enrique; FLORES COPETE, María; ALCANTUD LOZANO, Pilar  and  FERNANDEZ PEREZ, María José. Those strange hallucinations: Charles Bonnet Syndrome. Rev Clin Med Fam [online]. 2018, vol.11, n.1, pp.31-33. ISSN 2386-8201.

Charles Bonnet Syndrome is characterized by the appearance of complex, elaborate and persistent visual hallucinations in healthy elderly patients without cognitive impairment, who present a significant visual deficit of any origin. We present the case of an 81-year-old woman with multiple cardiovascular risk factors and severe visual deficit who began to show these clinical manifestations without a history of previous behavioral deterioration.
