Abstract

In today's development landscape of biotechnology, this study discusses possible solutions to the implementation of the assisted reproduction procedure with genetic material from a male patient in coma. With the use of a deductive methodology, the analysis aims to demonstrate the impossibility of assisted reproduction when the semen collection is held in a male patient in coma, as well as the possibility when semen is donated before the coma and the donor has left written or proven to be that your desire. Thus, the study will undertake a review of some techniques of assisted reproduction and the circumstances of the state of irreversible coma, as well as the constitutional principles of reproductive freedom, of human dignity and autonomy.
