Abstract

HERRERA CUENCA, Cristian Daniel  and  CERCAS DUQUE, Adriana. Las tecnologías en el aprendizaje de prestación de cuidados: propuesta de un marco referencial desde el modelo de Patricia Benner. Ene. [online]. 2016, vol.10, n.3. ISSN 1988-348X.

Nurses have the responsibility and obligation to offer quality care to those people they take care of. This leads to nurses needing to constantly update their knowledge by laws governing nursing practice and they have to face the computerized society. Nurses have discovered that Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), holding characteristics such as temporal and spacial flexibility will be paramount in order to obtain knowledge. ¿How to select ICT? This investigation tries to find an answer to this new problem that many nurses encounter throughout their professional careers, with the goal to facilitate the choice between the different ICT's available, ultimately trying to best match each individual and their clinical competence.

Keywords : Care; Clinical competence; Health knowledge; Learning; Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
