The appearance of illness in one of the family children affects all family's members. As a consequence, the structure of the family, its dynamics and family functions are altered. From the point of view of care, the health status of the child with cancer depletes parents' ability to care, focusing their attention on the sick child. Under this framework, a research work has been carried out focused on the search for information that is collected on the needs and care required by the brothers of the child with cancer. From the documents consulted, a series of signs were obtained indicating that these children require additional help. The results of the research show the lack of information about the needs and care required by siblings of children with cancer, and the lack of studies on the subject.
