Motherhood is a vital process that modifies the mother's self-care capacity and needs. How the satisfaction of this Self-Care and Self-Care Agency is fulfilled will affect not only the mother but also the fetus that grows inside her.

This article formalizes, how this Agency and Self-Care Demand is modified during gestation and fetal life. Then establish the dependency relationship between one and the other. The methodology used has been the extraction of knowledge through bibliographic search and meetings with experts.
