When reflecting on the field of care, it is essential to analyze the concepts that are part of the nursing metaparadigm as a profession, as well as the relationships established between them.

In this sense, the relationships between the person understood as a binomial body-mind, and care, to verify the hypothesis that mental care is part of the care of the person, has been explorer in this work. A metodology of deducive type with knowledge extraction has been used to carry out an algebraic formalization of the person and care construct, from the perspective of the body-mind binomial to construct the meaning of mental care.
