GARCIA HERNANDEZ, Alfonso Miguel. Discontinuity versus continuity. Around the narration and the meaning in bereaved people. Ene. [online]. 2021, vol.15, n.3, 1296. Epub 04-Abr-2022. ISSN 1988-348X.
Constructivism and discontinuity go together with the search for meaning in grief, individually and socially. With that in mind, our grammatical fabric, our narrative, configures a personal continuum between memory and imagination with a chronological, diachronic and synchronic character that helps give meaning to suffering and how we deal with our losses.
Assessing bereaved people after observing, listening and analysing them is difficult. However, going over them reveals that the presence of discontinuities can enable the search for continuities and how the relationship with them facilitates our understanding of the links, their efficacy and benefits. Even how to give meaning to the experience lived throughout the grieving process by becoming aware that we are social actors.
Palabras clave : discontinuity; continuity; narrative; grieving.
