After two years of SARS-CoV-2 pandemics, and whilst those countries with access to the different vaccines reflect upon the social reconstruction required and keep a watchful eye on the emergence of viral variants, it seems this may be a good time to reflect upon the response provided by nursing globally. In the United Kingdom, one of the most affected countries, the nursing response could be appraised according to three themes: clinical, professional, and social or as advocates for patients, all off have offered successes as well as failures.
