Duplication of spermatic cord. An infrequent finding
Duplicación de cordón espermático. Hallazgo infrecuente
Francisco Javier Torres Gómez, Pilar Fernández Machín, Younis Ismail Tomaizeh, Antonia Martínez Moyano y Rocío González Rodríguez.
Urologic and Pathologic Anatomy Department. Hospital de Alta Resolución de Écija. Sevilla. Spain.
Spermatic cord pathology is uncommon, limited to torsions, vasculitis nodosa and benign tumors like lipoma.
Malformations are generallly asymptomatic and necropsy is the gold standard for their finding.
Nowadays, the increasing number of vasectomies drives, as in our case, to findings with clinical transcendence like permeable double spermatic cords, unseen in the operating room and driving to failure of the procedure.
