LINARES, Juan Luis. Personality and personality disorders from a systemic approach. []. , 18, 3, pp.381-399. ISSN 2174-0550.

Personality may be defined as an individual dimension of relational experience, in a dialogue between past and present anchored in a double setting -the biological bases and the cultural frame. Relational nurturing is the drive for personality shaping, starting from an account that secretes identity in a tight contact with the organization and the mythology of membership systems -especially the family. The two main dimensions defining this relational setting are conjugality and parentality. In this crossroad, three dysfunctional areas show up: triangulations, privations and chaos -the foundations of personality disorders.
