Pedophilia is a complex psychiatric disorder of high public concern, clinically defined as intense and repeated sexually arousing fantasies, urges, or behaviours involving sexual activity with children, typically less than 13 years. A 45-year old man, single, with criminal record, which is caught by the mother of a child, when he placed his erect penis in the buttock of the child. Results of electrophysiological and psychophysiological studies and a summary of psychiatric assessment are exposed. It is recommended to link these studies to the forensic clinical assessment, to increase the objectivity of diagnoses issued by experts.
