^les^aEl filicidio se define como la muerte dada por un padre o una madre a su hijo, situación compleja que genera gran impacto y múltiples repercusiones sociales. Se presentan dos casos, ambas de sexo femenino, de 23 y 32 años de edad, respectivamente, que fueron evaluadas en el Instituto de Medicina Legal en La Habana por ser autoras de la muerte de sus hijos. En relación al hecho, la primera evaluada refirió "mi cabeza tenía deseos de hacer lo que hice, pero que nos fuéramos los tres juntos, lo intenté pero no pude", mientras la segunda afirmó "que no sabía por qué actuó de esa forma". Se muestran resultados de evaluación neuropsicológica, exámenes electrofisiológicos y psicofisiológicos, junto a un resumen de la evaluación psiquiátrica realizada. Se recomienda asociar estos estudios a la evaluación clínica forense, para incrementar la objetividad de los diagnósticos emitidos por peritos.^len^aFilicide is defined as the act of a parent killing her/his child. It is a complex situation that generates great impact and multiple social repercussions. We present two cases, both of the female gender of 23 and 32 years respectively that were evaluated in the Legal Medicine Institute on Havana, to be authors of the death of their children. In relation to the fact the first evaluated referred "my head had desires to make that I made, but that we left the 3 together, I attempted it but I was not able to", while the second affirmed that "she didn't know because it acted in that way". Results of the neuropsychological, electrophysiological and psychophysiological assessments are shown, and result to psychiatric evaluation. It is recommended to associate all these studies to the forensic clinical evaluation, to increase the objectivity of the diagnoses emitted by forensic experts.
