^les^aEn la actualidad el exceso de información sanitaria puede ser tan perjudicial para el paciente como lo era antiguamente el carecer de la misma; por ello resulta conveniente realizar una selección de la información disponible, desechando la que resulte errónea o desactualizada, y seleccionando aquella que pueda ser eficaz para que tanto el paciente como el profesional de la salud reciban finalmente una información sencilla y actualizada de la que poder aprovecharse. Para este trabajo hemos realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica, intentando aunar los criterios de los distintos autores, y como ya hemos mencionado seleccionar lo mejor de cada uno de ellos, El resultado de esta búsqueda ha sido un trabajo en el que se ha intentado que prime la claridad de ideas y la exactitud, intentando de igual manera, que el presente artículo no sea tan extenso que haga engorroso su uso o consulta, con la finalidad de que resulte una ayuda útil tanto para los pacientes como para los profesionales sanitarios.^len^aAt present, excess sanitary information for the patient can be as harmful as previously it was its absence.
