SANCHO CANTUS, D.    MARTINEZ SABATER, A.. Positive affectivity and health. []. , 10, 24. ISSN 1695-6141.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/S1695-61412011000400010.

Positive affectivity has always been associated with health, and it is said that there is a direct connection between the two. In fact, it is believed that the development of feelings and positive emotions plays a preventive role as far as illness is concerned, that is to say, it helps protect our health. The aim of this text is to ascertain the relationship between both concepts, based on various theoretical postulates of the Psychology of Emotions. One of the main results is the confirmation of the hypothesis which states that there is a close relationship between the concepts. Many authors believe that in this attitude and the in way we react to stimuli around us, we will be able to find the origin of future emotional disorders or psychosomatic illnesses.

: Affectivity; health; prevention; mental hygiene.
