La lactancia materna resulta difícil para las madres solteras refugiadas debido a la diversidad de factores negativos que están presentes en su entorno.
Método:
Estudio cualitativo con enfoque fenomenológico hermenéutico. Participaron 6 madres solteras refugiadas, seleccionadas por cadena de referencia, se realizaron entrevistas fenomenológicas analizadas por el círculo hermenéutico de Martin Heidegger.
Conclusiones:
Para las madres la lactancia es una forma de brindarles cariño, cuidado, protección, además un vínculo que los mantiene unidos. Se sienten privilegiadas de poder dar pecho a pesar de las adversidades y sentimientos negativos que presentan por la vulnerabilidad durante la estancia en el refugio.
Breastfeeding is difficult for single refugee mothers due to the diversity of negative factors that are present in their environment.
Method:
Qualitative study with hermeneutic phenomenological approach. Six refugee single mothers, selected by reference chain, participated, phenomenological interviews analyzed by Martin Heidegger's hermeneutic circle were conducted.
Conclusions:
For the mothers breastfeeding is a way of providing affection, care, protection, also a bond that keeps them together. They feel privileged to be able to breastfeed in spite of the adversities and negative feelings they have due to their vulnerability during their stay in the shelter.
