Abstract

JULIA-SANCHIS, Rocío. Beyond COVID: the ethical challenges of restarting mental health services. Rev. Asoc. Esp. Neuropsiq. [online]. 2021, vol.41, n.139, pp.17-22.  Epub Oct 04, 2021. ISSN 2340-2733.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/s0211-57352021000100002.

This reflection paper aims to establish the ethical values that should underpin the re-establishment of health care after the first waves of COVID-19, knowing that outbreaks and new waves seem inevitable until mass vaccination. To this end, we will consider different ethical issues to be taken into account in the phase of resumption of activity in mental health care units, both by managers and professionals.

Keywords : ethics; COVID-19; mental health service.
