The COVID-19 pandemic has affected healthcare systems severely and has had a negative impact on healthcare. However, it has also been a catalyst for digital transformation in many healthcare centers and in the pharmaceutical industry.

In this article, the experience of digital transformation during the pandemic is reviewed from the perspective of healthcare professionals and the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on digital visits, on-line education, and the model of interaction between healthcare professionals and the industry. Also, some key points are given to facilitate a successful digital transformation.
