ASENSIO-SANCHEZ, V.M.; SANCHEZ-RODRIGUEZ, J.C.; MACIAS-PASCUAL, J. and MARTINEZ RODRIGUEZ, M.. Traumatic Horner syndrome. Arch Soc Esp Oftalmol [online]. 2007, vol.82, n.3, pp.171-173. ISSN 0365-6691.
Case report: We present a case of Horners syndrome in a 33-year-old man who presented with ptosis and right pupil miosis after cervical trauma. Computed tomography revealed a tender haematoma in the neck, which was producing tracheal deformity and stenosis. Discussion: Cervical trauma may damage the sympathetic pathway and result in Horners syndrome. This may be a manifestation of a life-threatening condition.
