Abstract

CERVILLA-LOZANO, J.M.. Mammary lipostructure and ptosis. Cir. plást. iberolatinoam. [online]. 2014, vol.40, n.4, pp.369-376. ISSN 1989-2055.  https://dx.doi.org/10.4321/S0376-78922014000400003.

From some years we are watching a fact after fat grafting in breast; it's the ptosis or mammary fall 2 or 3 months after surgery. We try to explain this fact by rupture and elongation of Cooper suspensory ligaments that would directly impact in final results. This phenomenon produce more ptosis in mature breast, but a nice result in tuberous breast because this ptosis fills the lower mammary pole, main problem in these type of breast. In this paper, we take on consideration the technic of lipostructure and the selection of the infiltration canulae, and we present 2 practical cases and a resume of technical indications for every case. Now, after some years of experience in mammary lipostructure, we think that this is not a technique for all cases, and in order to get good results, it´s necessary to considerer the optimal indication for every patient.

Keywords : Mammary lipostructure; Mammary fat graft; Mammary ptosis; Tuberous breast.
