Objective:
Carry out a systematic review of literature on health and working conditions in public transportation drivers.
Methods:
Systematic bibliographic review with information search between the years 2015-2020 adjusted to the requirements established for systematic reviews by the PRISMA protocol.
Results:
Working conditions have a direct influence on the state of health, noting alterations such as: overweight, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal diseases, symptoms of anxiety and depression, and a tendency to consume alcohol and tobacco.
Conclusions:
The articles reviewed showed that public transportation drivers have unfavorable working conditions, as physical and psychological risks are prevalent.
