Abstract

ALVAREZ ARENAL, Teresa  and  CONDE-GUZON, Pablo A.. Training of Subtypes of Children with School Learning Problems According to Neuro- Psychological Assesment, Cognitive Abilities and Behaviour. Clínica y Salud [online]. 2009, vol.20, n.1, pp.19-41. ISSN 2174-0550.

This paper differentiates subtypes of school children who do not seem to show neurological disorders but who exhibit learning disabilities. This differentiation is made from neurological, cognitive and behavior views. The following assessment tools were used: Luria’s Battery -DNI, WISC-R, and Child Behavior Scales. The results show four subtypes of disorders: 1) dyslexic disorder, 2) global deficit, 3) deficit of attention, and 4) minimal deficit.
