Abstract
MAGANTO MATEO, Carmen and GARAIGORDOBIL LANDAZABAL, Maite. Child Diagnosis by Means of Graphic Expression: the Two Human Figures Test (T2F). Clínica y Salud [online]. 2009, vol.20, n.3, pp.237-248. ISSN 2174-0550.
This paper presents some aspects of graphic expression techniques and the concept of diagnosis within the framework in which such techniques emerged. This research was carried out with the Test de dos figuras humanas (Two Human Figures Test, T2F; Maganto & Garaigordobil, 2009), which is described as an instrument to be used in clinical, educational and social settings to identify and diagnose children with intellectual and emotional problems. Using samples of 1,122 and 1,623 participants ranging from 5 to 12 years of age, the results showed that the instrument was both reliable and valid for measuring mental and emotional development. The discussion focuses on the contribution of the test to child diagnosis.
